Ann Monica Vlass is a qualified Natural Medicine Practitioner and Research Scientist with a special interest in Ayurvedic Medicine. Ann has been in clinical practice for close to 19 yrs running Helping Nature Heal in Melbourne, Australia. Ann is a well known Health Advocate in Australia and has been a staunch supporter of strengthening the Natural Medicine Practitioner sector. She completed her science degree from The University of Melbourne (Pharmacology and Biochemistry) and research thesis with Honours from the Department of Medicine, at the Royal Melbourne Hospital Department of Colorectal Medicine and Genetics, where she analysed modulation of cancer-related genes in response to diets containing specific dietary fibres known for their preventative effects against colorectal cancer. She then worked in continuing research. Her main focus in
