Australia’s famous “Babymaker” Ruth Sharkey, comes out of retirement to support Your Health Your Choice.

Australia’s most famous “Babymaker” and natural therapist, Ruth Sharkey, has come out of retirement to support Your Health Your Choice.

Now in her 70s, Ruth has spent more than 30 years fighting Government and decision makers to protect freedom of choice in healthcare and the fight is far from over.

A darling of the Australian media, Ruth regularly appeared on television programs such as Today Tonight, A Current Affair, morning shows and on radio.

She battled the Government for more than 30 years and knows the power of the media, and people power are vital when it comes to protecting choice.

“I have come out of retirement to help people to understand that they will lose freedom of choice. It is so important they look after their health, it is their choice what remedies go in to their bodies,” she said.

Through Your Health Your Choice Ruth is urging Australians to call for a Senate Inquiry into bias against complementary healthcare and an investigation into a “flawed” report that is now being used to influence major regulatory change that will take away choice.

“We want to be able to give our children what we know is safe and these herbal remedies and naturopathic remedies and homeopathic remedies have been around since Hippocrates time.

“We must allow people to have the choice of what they give themselves, how they treat themselves. If they want to go to a doctor fine. If they want to have natural remedies, fine. It must be freedom of choice beyond all else.
